-
Acupuncture
By gently stimulating precise points along energy pathways, acupuncture helps restore balance, relieve tension, and promote circulation, empowering your body’s natural ability to heal.
-
Internal Medicine
We blend modern diagnostics with holistic care to address the root causes of illness, not just the symptoms. From digestive health and hormonal balance to chronic conditions and preventive care, we create tailored treatment plans to support long-term wellness.
-
Nutrition Advice & Supplements
We provide personalized guidance on diet and high-quality supplements to nourish your body, restore balance, and address your unique needs. Thoughtful, evidence-based recommendations help you feel your best from the inside out.
-
Cupping & Moxibustion
These time-honored therapies enhance circulation, release tension, and support the body’s natural healing process. Cupping helps ease muscle tightness and promote detoxification, while moxibustion (a warming technique that involves burning dried mugwort near acupuncture points) nourishes energy and restores balance.
Acupuncture FAQs
-
Does acupuncture hurt?
No, acupuncture should not hurt. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin, flexible needles that are hardly felt when inserted. In fact, most people find the experience to be relaxing and some patients fall asleep during treatment.
-
What should I wear to my acupuncture appointment?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Michelle will need access to your arms and legs, so it will be helpful if you are able to roll your sleeves above your elbows and your pants above your knees. You should also wear a top that will allow you to uncover your abdomen or back.
-
Do you have to be licensed to perform acupuncture?
Yes. Only acupuncturists who maintain a valid license issued by the California Acupuncture Board and physicians licensed by the Medical Board of California can perform acupuncture in the state of California. Michelle Siazon, RN LAc is a California licensed acupuncturist, registered nurse, and herbalist.
-
How long does an acupuncture session take?
Your first session will last about 1 to 1.5 hours. After consulting with Michelle, you will lay on the table with the acupuncture needles for around 20-40 minutes in a peaceful setting. Subsequent sessions last about a total of one hour.
-
Do you use sterile, single-use needles?
Yes. All of our acupuncture needles are single-use, sterile, come in sterile packaging, and are safely disposed of after a single use, per California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 1399.454

Do you take insurance?
